Shelly is an Irish Physiotherapist who arrived in New Zealand in February 2020. She has a Masters Degree in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh. Since graduating Shelly has developed her clinical skills working within the private sector and sports physiotherapy. She has a keen interest in musculoskeletal and sporting injuries and utilizes a mixture of manual therapy and evidence-based exercise rehabilitation during her treatments. To date, she has gained extensive experience working with athletes of all levels, including international rowers and field hockey players. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from her love of sports, health and well-being. She is trained in Clinical Pilates and endeavors to utilise these skills to provide holistic care and treatment plans for people recovering from acute sporting injuries, spinal conditions and the management of women’s health conditions.
