We hope you are all ok and looking after yourselves and your families. With the move to COVID-19 Level 4 alert we have stopped all face to face consultations but we are still able to provide you with help in a number of ways.

If you have an injury

We have setup Telehealth consults using platforms such as Zoom, Skype, FaceTime and your good old fashioned phone call. Our options are extremely easy to use and we will work with you to find the easiest option.

There is no consultation fee for patients under ACC as we want to keep our community as healthy and fit as possible during this time.

Secondly, wondering how this works if we aren’t able to provide hands on treatment?

There are still many things we can do to help assess you via video. We can provide an accurate diagnosis, and a treatment plan that you can begin doing from home that could include:

  • Injury management
  • Rehabilitation programs
  • Stretching and mobility programs
  • Activity modification and family based exercise plans to keep the whanau active!

This would also take some pressure off GPs (who are also using Telehealth platforms) and would help them.

Thirdly, being confined to your home for four weeks, this might be the perfect time to get on top of any injuries or niggling pains that have been bothering you for the past few months with our help.

From all the team at TCCP we are here for you if you need us and we look forward to seeing you all later this year in 2020. Take care and stay safe.
